Pink denies rumors that she wiped social media accounts after Sean 'Diddy' Combs' arrest

Pink is clearing up rumors surrounding her relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The "Trustfall" singer clarified her ties to the embattled media mogul after fans speculated that Pink deleted her X posts in response to Combs' ongoing legal troubles after his arrest in Manhattan on Sept. 16.
On Thursday, Pink got candid with her 11 million Instagram followers, writing in a post that she doesn't "know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!! There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I've met people in passing, I'm not associated with any of the people mentioned."

In February, she deleted all her X posts and quit the platform due to death threats and the "absolute hatred" she experienced, telling the Australian radio show Carrie and Tommy about the deletion. Before wiping her account, the singer shared an X post that read, "This account will self-destruct in two minutes."

Other celebrities have also been speculated about their involvement with Diddy after having deleted their social media posts. A Sept. 22 Threads post shows a picture of actress Megan Fox and the music industry heavyweight together at an event. The photo includes a screenshot of Fox's Instagram account, which has no posts.

"BREAKING: Actress Megan Fox has deleted every post she created on Instagram and deleted every post on X/Twitter up to 2013 leaving fans to believe it is connected to the Diddy case," reads text within the post, which was originally shared on X, formerly Twitter. "Usher and Pink deleted all of their X/Twitter posts earlier today."
Fox's and Pink's deleted posts and empty social media accounts predate Combs' arrest. Usher said his X account was hacked, and his posts have since been reinstated.

On Sept. 16, New York police arrested the embattled media mogul, who has spent the past year fighting several civil lawsuits with alleged victims over misconduct claims that span three decades. The following day, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York announced Combs is facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
The charges were detailed in a 14-page federal grand jury indictment, which was then unsealed, revealing an extensive and ongoing federal investigation into the hip-hop icon. Investigators say the 54-year-old elaborately schemed to use his finances and status in the entertainment industry to "fulfill his sexual desires."
